From the
Oriental Chair
Dear Brothers:
It has been a busy year so far, and looks like it is going to remain busy. We have a
class of 19 Entered Apprentices with six more awaiting degrees. We hope to have
some of them raised by the time we go dark.
We are trying to keep the momentum going by having the bull roast this year at the
lodge. The idea we had was we would have a work party in the morning to clean, paint,
and fix up the lodge and in the afternoon have the bull roast in the refreshment hall and
outside (if the weather is nice). We have not set a date for this yet, but I wanted to
bring it up in case you would like to offer your services to the lodge. It would be a great
way to get reacquainted at lodge.
If you have a background in painting, drywall, plumbing, or carpentry and are willing to
help, please let me know. It should be a good day of fellowship.

Fraternally;
Matthew Hovatter
Worshipful Master
